This is a convent which was initially occupied by the members of St. Joseph's Congregation. They were engaged in the activities of Navjeevan Welfare Centre run by the diocese. The convent building constructed by the priests in 1987 was blessed by our Bishop Gregory Karotemprel. The same house was handed over to the FCC sisters on 2nd June 2007.
The sisters work in villages, running balawadi, tailoring classes, medical camp, women's empowerment programme, dispensary, herbal medicine, agriculture and environment programme. They work for communal harmony and render legal aid programmes, SHG's etc. They take care of old people in their homes, giving food and medicine. They also attempt to have rehabilitation of the disabled.
